
Sounds like developing competence is an easy thing as its easy to pronounce ‘competence development ‘ but it become far more difficult if not structured properly . There are lots of organizations who want to develop competence within their workers community but due to the lack of processes they are not able to achieve their goals .
The very first thing which is necessary for a proper organization is to have processes , processes makes things easier to handle and process itself correct lots of bugs in the working environment , for example one organization like Ericsson has a well defined process and it sell its services by claiming that they have a well defined process , customer on the other hand need reliable service in committed time which can only be possible if they see some kind of processes in the organization so its very necessary to have a well defined process for everything in an organization .
Now the question comes how to develop competence if we have a good process in an organization ? – well the question is self explanatory because if we have good processes in the dept then there must be the process defined to share knowledge , sharing knowledge is the only thing which takes an organization an extra mile .
If an organization define a process of sharing knowledge then I am sure that organization will not fail either in sense of business or in sense of competence development .
